NSL Alum Running for Knesset

NSL is proud to share that Eran Nissan (2019 NSL alum), a longtime civil society organizer and former CEO of the reservists' movement, is running in the primaries for a Knesset seat with 'Ha-Democratim' (The Democrats), Israel's newly unified party of the Zionist left, formed from the 2024 merger of Labor and Meretz.

Eran's candidacy reflects a story we recognized in him from his time in NSL: years of grassroots organizing translating into a decision to pursue change through formal political leadership. 

We wish Eran the best as the campaign moves forward, and will continue to highlight our alumni network's growing footprint in both Israeli and Palestinian civic and political life.
