Eligibility Criteria

  • Born in Palestine or Israel, or a citizen of Palestine or Israel, or regard Palestine or Israel as home.

  • Aged between 18-32 years of age as of June 2019.

  • A full time university student or graduate or young professional.

  • Available to participate fully, including all orientation sessions and for a full uninterrupted 7 weeks in Washington DC from June 10th-July 31st.

  • In possession of a valid passport or travel document and can obtain a USA B1 Visa by June.

  • Fit and healthy to travel and participate in the program.

  • Possess the financial resources to cover visa and travel expenses. Alternatively, will fundraise, find sponsor or apply for an NSL Scholarship.

  • Willing to demonstrate active leadership through service by planning and implementing a pilot-demonstration of their Project for Change between February and June

Step One:

Send us the following at info@newstoryleadership.org (Deadline extended to Dec. 15th)

  • A resume that makes you a compelling candidate for a Congressional or other high-level work placement in Washington, DC.

  • A motivation letter (no more than 3 paragraphs) describing the kind of person you think NSL is looking for and why you are that person.

  • A 2-3 minute video introducing yourself. (Get Creative!) OPTIONAL

Step Two:

After reviewing your resume and motivation letter we will email you the NSL Application.

Step Three:

If your application makes us believe that you would be a good fit for NSL, we will reach out to you for a Skype Interview.

Step Four:

Our final round of interviews will be in-person interviews in the region.
