Terry Eason

Host Family Co-ordinator, Terry Eason is married to Board Member, David Eason, and a long time Host Mother to over thirty international students. For the last ten years, Terry has served as the Host Family Coordinator for the Washington Ireland Program, the South African Washington Intern Program and more recently, the person in charge of founding the Host Family Community for the New Story Leadership project. That role entails recruiting suitable families, training them for their vital role, and offering ongoing support. Terry also works in her own non-profit, the Low Vision Center in Bethesda MD. Terry and Dave Eason were pioneers in youth exchange programs, being host parents to Project Children kids from Belfast and Derry in the 1980′s and have gone on to teach others the skills of hosting. Terry is very committed to NSL’s cause and has played host to students from both year’s teams, along with students from Ireland and South Africa.
