Biography: Nitzan Rejev Sanders is a 26 year old Israeli student at London City University where she is a member of the Olive Tree program for outstanding scholars and studying International Relations. Nitzan grew up in a military family and served in the army herself. She is an activist and keen researcher about the conflict and wants to do post graduate work in peace studies before launching out to start her own NGO. She has started new student clubs and activities at her university and is currently launching an all college e-journal. Nitzan has a story about what it means to Israeli young people to have to set their sights on a military career before a public career and has vivid memories of childhood fears of war, when her father was serving on active duty.
