Biography: Lior Frankiensztajn is a second year student of political science and international affairs at Interdisciplinary center (IDC), in Herzliya and has served as an officer for 5 years in the IDF in charge of Israeli army daily communication with the International community in the Gaza strip. What is remarkable is that some of his referees for NSL are diplomats whom he got to know on duty. They are full of respect for his integrity and humanity. Lior’s family come from South America and his army experience has inspired him to initiate his own NGO project called SHADES that aims to bring Israeli and Palestinian students together for an intense training in negotiation skills. He has recently pitched the idea to Columbia University in NYC. He has just been named an IDC Argov program which is a college fellowship acknowledging his outstanding leadership.
