Like most teenagers in her city, Hazar, at the age of 17, had started working as a sales person in different stores. Starting her academic studies at Technion, she also worked in sales in a cafeteria. Hazar enjoyed this job the most — having short chats with regular clients, knowing their mood by the food or drink they ordered, and remembering each client’s favorite meal. This made the job more special than the previous ones. Hazar also worked as a research assistant at the TCEEH (The Technion Center of Excellence in Exposure Science and Environmental Health) where she researched air pollution distribution in micro areas such as small neighborhoods. Spending her time with a research team revealed to her the obstacles that a researcher might have to face and the way they should be treated. While studying, she has helped other people as well. The current project in which she is involved is assisting school students in practicing for final math exams.
