Stephen Williams, MP

Stephen Williams has lived in Bristol ever since he came to study history at the University of Bristol. He was elected to Parliament at his third attempt in 2005 as MP for Bristol West. He was one of the few MPs to be free from any allegations during the 2009 expenses scandal. Though a representative for Bristol, Stephen grew up in the South Wales village of Abercynon in the Cynon Valley. He attended Mountain Ash Comprehensive School and then the University of Bristol, graduating in 1988 with a degree in History.
Peter Skinner, MEP
Member of European Parliament, Labour
Peter Skinner is a Member of the European Parliament for the Labour Party for South East England. Educated at St. Josephs R.C. Secondary Modern School in Orpington, Kent, he attended Bradford University between 1979 and 1982 where he attained a BSc in Economics and Politics. Between 1986 and 87 he undertook a post-graduate course in Industrial Relations and in 1991 completed a post-graduate Diploma in Education. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 1994, when he represented the Kent West constituency before the reforms in European Elections created multi-member constituencies based on British regions in 1999.

Councillor for Oxford, Conservative
Anthony Gearing is a Conservative Party Councillor representing the Wootton constituency in Oxfordshire. Educated at Cumnor Primary School and Magdalen College School, Oxford, Anthony moved onto the University of St Andrews where he graduated with a science degree. A keen cyclist who enjoys the countryside, Anthony is a committee member of the Traffic Advisory Committee and the Safer & Stronger Communities Scrutiny Committee, as well as a member on the South Africa Link Group.
Cllr. Paul Seeby
Councillor for Broxbourne, Conservative
Waltham Cross, England
Paul is currently the Broxbourne Council Cabinet member for Community. He was born and raised in Waltham Cross and Cheshunt. He has been a Councillor since 1991 and he has campaigned successfully for pedestrian crossings in Hammond Street and Longfield Lane, worked for improvements to Flamstead End Hall and playing fields. He formed the first community safety group in Rosedale with police, youth services and the local church. He also helped to start off the Borough’s St. George’s fun day.
Cllr. Sajaad Khan
Councillor for Gresham, Labour
Councillor Khan, 31, who works in hotel management, is a representative of the Gresham Ward having first been elected in 2011. A passionate supporter of local government and communities, Mr Khan put his name forward in 2012 seeking the Labour nomination to be the Police and Crime Commissioner in Cleveland. He is also a former Student Union President of the Middlesborough College.
